Business is in the heart and blood of Shamit Khemka - the founder of Synapse communications. The milestones in a journey till this phase of his life leaves very little to doubt about this man’s abilities.

He started it with Pharos Infotech at Kolkata (erstwhile Calcutta) in the year 1994. Right after completing his graduation from the prestigious Scindia School.

Shamit took the gallop by implementing BBS with Email services for the first time in India.

In the year 1998, he started his second venture Sampatti.com. Again an extremely popular investment amongst real-estate and allied service providers. This online real estate platform was the first of its kind in India to offer an all-integrated online database of real estate specialists in the country.

Then came Synapse communications – the biggest of his all ventures and soon to prove to be the leader amongst the IT outsourcing specialists in India. It is Shamit’s leadership and entrepreneurial skills that lead to the manifestation of several better ways that IT and offshore software development service industry in India was to follow suit.

As it was to be, recognitions poured in lots. Incepted in 2000, today Synapse is a member of Software technology park of India and is a 100% export oriented unit. It is a CMMI level 3 company; recognized world over by several business and third-party certification authorities.
